How To Place Cantilever Using Input Mode

  1. From the Support Frames toolbox, select the Braced Cantilever icon.
  2. Double click the pipe segment closest to the support structure to connect to.
  3. When the Properties Dialog displays, click in the Frame Type field and select one of the options from the grid.
  4. Set the Placement Mode to Input.
  5. Define a value for the Beam Length as well as the unit of measure.
    Note: This is the beam that supports the pipe and will connect to the structure.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Use the mouse to snap to the desired placement location of the beam or structure and left-click twice to complete the procedure.
